Hello and Welcome! I’m Kara Joy with Thankfully Taken. We are a Husband and Wife team who believe in Celebrating the Beauty of Marriage. Our goal as wedding photographers is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in authentic, joyful images! • Aaron and I have been Married 16 years.

• We have two beautiful children, two Border Collies, & 12 Chickens.

• We spend most of our time between Vermont & Tennessee.

• We Love, Love, Love to travel... always planning the next trip.

• I am slightly addicted with home design,  decorating, & re-decorating.

• Aaron handles all of the technical behind the scenes details. I call him Boss!

• We turn every event into a competition to see who gets the best shot… He wins more than I like to admit.

• We fall in love with all our amazing couples… we are blessed with the BEST!

• I cry at almost every wedding and hide it behind my camera.

• We love creating beautiful images but more importantly, We love serving couples on one of the greatest days of their lives!!
